After a new brand for your business? Here’s some inspiration for you.

In the last in a series of posts on visual identity, Broom & Moon’s favourite design talent, Ivana Martinovic shares the brands and resources that inspire her.

Websites

Brand New

This is a paid site, but so worth it. It publishes examples of new logos, designs and brands every day and keeps me up to date on what other designers are doing.

BP&O and It's Nice That

Both these sites showcase examples of beautiful brand identity, design and packaging. They both also have weekly newsletters, which I’m signed up to and always look forward to receiving.

Behance

This is a site for connecting freelance designers with clients and is a great way to browse other designers’ portfolios.

Awwwards
Web designers, developers and agencies submit to work to this site, where it is assessed by a panel of expert judges. A great way to keep tabs on what’s happening in digital.

Favourite brands

Lego

I love the brand’s endless creativity and learning, which connects with both kids and adults.

Glossier

This minimalist beauty brand started small and grew by listening to customers.

Aesop

Their minimalist packaging is sophisticated and high-quality, yet affordable. There’s a reason they are endlessly copied!

Wes Anderson

Finally, I love any fictional branding created for a Wes Anderson film, purely for their beautiful aesthetics. They always effortlessly work with his films’ visual style – simply amazing!
